I googled your error. There is a flag about invalid characters in names.
Let me explain...
Much like DDS supports the ALIAS keyword, SQL also supports both long, and
short, names. For example you can do this statement
CREATE TABLE ROB/IHAVEMORETHAN10CHAR for system name bs2
(THISCOLNAMEISHUGE
for FieldA
CHAR (10 ) NOT NULL WITH DEFAULT)
and any of the following statements will work against it:
select thiscolnameishuge from ihavemorethan10char
select fielda from bs2
select thiscolnameishuge from bs2
In your post I see:
Renamed field . . . . . . . . . . . . . . :
*VIEWF0001
This could be your problem. One tool uses the short, or system, names and
the other tool likes the longer names.
