System has a RDX 320gb removable drive (in the internal slot of a 8202-E4D tower).
User did a save 21 to device RMS01 (auto config name).
1. How does one "display" whats on that media drive? It's not a tape (dsptap says so).
(i just answered that one - DSPOPT will display contents).
2. Does one need to init these drives before use? (user did not init, but really asking if factory init ok?)
3. Having not ever used save to optical - trying to determine best method of doing multiple saves of same libraries
to same cartridge (one set per day), without overwriting.
Would like to save several libraries each day, and put maybe 5 sets of saves per drive (rotating multiple cartridges).
Need to determine restore command from any particular set.
(am relaying all this info in a set of instructions to friend who is coming from a working System 36.
