Is it possible to suppress the extra SQL messages sent to the joblog
while in debug mode?
The last time this was discussed, somewhat recently [in the past few
months], the conclusion seems to have been that there is no *SUPPRESS
feature for that option in the QAQQINI. Thus reactively removing or
effectively proactively filtering the [undesirable debug-activated]
messages seems to be the only option. The database Query and SQL debug
messages, in general, will have SEV(00), thus CHGJOB LOG(4 1 *N) would
eliminate those debug messages; albeit possibly filtering many other
[desirable] messages that also have a severity level of zero.
