For embedded SQL: the SET OPTION statement provides you with a way to
override the default date formatting ( along with other compile time and
execution time settings)
You would execute this statement prior to any other SQL statement to set
the environment:
SET OPTION DATFMT=*YMD, DATSEP=*SLASH
On the interactive side:
For STRSQL: F13>1 change session attributes
For Run SQL Statements: Connection>JDBC Settings
