Christian,

I have multiple customers using SAVRST to save IFS files and restore them on the target. The job is kicked off about every two hours by the job scheduler although I've also built a automatic self submit in the future as well.

Good news: It's free. Bad news you have to set up the APPN network which might require an IPL depending on how the network attributes are set now.

Given the type and volatility of the data your talking about that might be your best option.

I have other customers using HAAssist, sold by IBM but it's a Rocket software product now. ( The old DataMirror product ) They give a significant discount on the software if PowerHA is on the box. That will replicate the IFS real time.

Hello everyone.

For a customer having set up a SSO with EIM and using POWERHA, how to
replicate the EIM configuration ?

I see three areas of research:

1/recreate the library of the LDAP server in the iASP (we have no choice
of the iASP during the initial config)

2/save/restore the LDAP every night

3/duplicate LDAP contents by LDAP to LDAP replication (see http: //

There is also few IFS files to copy (to be copied only once ?)

Has anybody an experience feedback on this theme?

thank's
Christian
