When you are viewing or changing the directory entry, F19 displays the name for SMTP - it will have the user id and domain to use.

Subject: SNDDST TOUSRID Question
If I type the following command:
SNDDST TYPE(*LMSG) TOUSRID((MIKENAUG MYNET *PRI)) DSTD('Test Message') LONGMSG('Hi Mike - this is a test') SUBJECT('Email Test')
I get an email addressed to "MikeNaughton@xxxxxxxxxxxxx". I'm trying to figure out how the user id (MIKENAUG) gets translated into the email address (MikeNaughton@xxxxxxxxxxxxx). I looked in the system distribution directory, and the user id is there but I don't see the email address anywhere.
Can someone tell me how this works? Thanks very much in advance,
Mike Naughton
