I really do not think that image catalogs are all that hard. Frankly I
would think it would be less effort to learn how to use them than it would
be to evaluate vendors of products to make it easier, get competing
quotes, get the purchase approved by management, install the software, pay
annual fees for maintenance and support, upgrade it periodically, etc.

Rich - You're right about automating image catalog stuff should be
pretty easy - there's a nice set of related commands - you know, bundle
up the various parameters and ba-da-bing!
