Sorry, Larry. I did indeed miss the word "usable". My
apologies!
For the record, I have to say my preference would be 6 units all
at 70 GB (as seen by the client).
However, is is possible a load source at 70 GB (as seen from the
client LPAR) plus 6 additional units sized appropriately to
provide the GBs needed by the hosted LPAR could be an effective
alternative when 420 GBs is simply way too much storage. ***But
the ENDALC tactic really should be used to prevent too many
accesses to the load source unit.*** In other words a total of
7 units for the client LPAR.
