Greetings
Asking for the 'list of IBM i ' customers is always a difficult thing.
Many of our biggest and those that you would consider household names are
very restrictive about having their names referenced at all. So that
leaves off a very large and impressive list of IBM i customers, There is
how ever a list of customer references that are all available on the IBM
Power Home page. Below is the link to the customer success page. I also
included the link for the 60 reference accounts for IBM i.

That is at least a start. Additionaly, You really need to follow Steve
Will's blog entry.
http://ibmsystemsmag.blogs.com/you_and_i/
In his blog, he has a number of entries that talk about success stories
and how they were successful on IBM i. For the customers that are runing
the same applications unchanged for the past 15 (or more years) yea, they
are being pressured, there interfaces are OLD, For customers that have
adopted modern technologies, Things like PHP to re-invent their UI, Or
have leveraged any of the many ISV that will help modernize the front end
( solutions like Profound Logic, Look Software, Lansa, Rocket, BCD,
Others) these compaines nolonger consider their application or IT
infrastructure OLD. Their users are leveraging modern interfaces on
browsers or even through mobile devices. The good news for them, they have
been able to protect their investment in their core application and use
the modern UI. Really they are hiding the IT from their users. The Users
only care about the application. not what it runs on. Those that have been
adapting this methodolgy are gaining the benefits IBM i gives them
(security, reliability, resilency) in a new modern manner. These are the
compnies that as previously stated ,are leading the charge and bringing
real value to their companies.
If you have questions. please feel free to reach out.
