Adding an OPTIMIZE FOR nnn ROWS clause with a /small/ number for the integer value nnn can assist in the same way. Easier than establishing OPTIMIZAION_GOAL='*FIRSTIO' via the QAQQINI options. AFaIK there is no OPTIMIZE for the SET OPTION of the SQL.
