Part of a process reads file data from a PC file defined using a link created using the ADDLNK Command. Every so often the file will not open. If the file is placed on a CD and read from the CD drive on the AS400 the file will open. This has worked for over 10 years.
The file is now larger than will fit on a CD. We've another AS400 with a DVD drive. It is possible to create a "Link" on AS400 1 that can reference the DVD drive on AS400 2. And what would the OBJ parameter in the ADDLNK command look like.
