I just set one of these up today. I had too many files even to do `ls /tmp/file*` or `rm /tmp/file*` and even found that QSH wouldn't do it with find. PASE, on the other hand, had no trouble deleting with find.
I scheduled a job to run a script, though it would probably work just as well with the command in the job scheduler. The script allows later additions without changing the scheduled job.
/path/to/script.sh contains (where X is your number of days):
find /tmp/file* -mtime +X -exec rm {} \;

Hello Guys
Is there a way to programmatically delete old / expired files in the IFS ?
I need to daily delete files that are older then X days.
Thanks
Gad
