This system is both programming and user environment. We have System i's (or whatever the plural of System i is) at several locations but they're all both production & development.

I agree with your thoughts on a User environment, but it's not my choice. I've even been tempted to sneak in a bit of 'security' here & there without telling anyone. I'm a former sys admin (and SECOFR and SYSOPR) so my brain still tends to lean that way.

So, this is a question of curiosity only

Is this a programming environment
....where theoretically this could happen, probably by accident

Or a User environment
.....where they should not have command line access
.....or the authority to do this in the 1st place
.....let alone even know how to do it
