Mike,

We have some iR-ADV copiers. They are set up as model 3812, direct attachment thru port 9100.

Our smaller ones (iR-ADV 4045 & iR-ADV 6065) will print directly from our iSeries with no intervention.

Our big one (iR-ADV C9075) in our copy center has an intervention machine. The devd points to this PC, not the actual copier. In the software (Fiery), they have it turned on to reject anything without the id code for departmental accounting. So, when I am processing large spool files, I notify them that I am sending it and they watch for it to appear in the queue on their Fiery software. Once there, they can override the requirement and release it to print.
