Can the system name in the green screen telnet be altered without a real system name change?
Someone thought it funny long ago to name two systems after cartoon characters (don't ask..).
External users now see it. There is a lot of communications (external and between systems) to deal with.
Many screens and menus use SYSNAME.
Short of doing the actual CHGNETA and the associated changes (i know how to do this) and other option of changing everywhere SYSNAME is used (including a customized logon screen) to calc a diff name (users don't see IBM menus), any other options? I would think not, but need to ask.
