Thanks Pat and Charles for your replies. Our printer doesn't have the IPDS feature.

IPDS is two parts:

(1) The printer must have a IPDS feature(usually a special card)
(2) IPDS support is a "payable" feature that you must but from IBM.

Hi all,

How can I determine of a printer (to be specific, Ricoh Aficio MP C5000) supports IPDS? I am trying to configure a device with type *IPDS, I can start the writer, but when I try to print a spoolfile it stays in the "PND" status.
