All true, but I'd rather have room for those extra SSDs. Good trade off in
my opinion.

Not that we've had an internal tape drive in years but Power 8 = no internal
tape drive. The space was needed for other function.
Some people love internal tape drives. For one thing, the maintenance is
included with the CEC.
