As others have said, yes the drives are out there as are all the other parts you may need. If you are paying maintenance to IBM or third party then it is their problem to source them, and replace them. If you do not have maintenance then it is on you and you should think ahead about where to get the stuff and the expertise to troubleshoot and replace the failed parts. The longer you skate without maintenance the thinner the ice beneath you becomes, and it's just a matter of time before the ice gives way. Power Systems are very reliable and have lulled us to complacency many times so that when the failure does happen we are unprepared and upset.

So verify your maintenance, maybe go cloud instead and get rid of the problem that way, or upgrade and spend the maintenance money instead on a modern machine that you'll actually Want to keep!
