EKDVIDSP appears to be a Windows .DLL, so seemingly minor changes to a
Windows environment, including standard-automatic updates from
Microsoft have the "potential" for breaking a .DLL - they call it DLL
HELL.

Sorry, that's not reassuring. Unfortunately I don't know much about
IBM Content Manager and what support options might be available.
