Nothing, nothing special at all. IBM Just didn't want to create a 
feature code to upgrade it as that additional amount of memory wasn't 
enough to monkey with for most shops.

Feel free to swap it out for larger DIMMs

Likely the machine says max supported memory is 896 or something like 
that but it will happily go to a full GB.
