Betreff: Availability of (oldschool) 4-port Twinax brick?

Allright,

that's it...I've been messing for days and days with a multitude of Windows/Client Access combinations to get the direct connection console working on my 9406-170, but the best I get out of it is an apparent sending/receiving of data, an SRC that tells me that the console is found and active...but nothing more than a 'connecting' console.

Time to take another approach. With this old OS release (V4R5) not supporting LAN console, I've got my eye on an 2720 Twinax/WAN IOA (to replace the 2721 WAN/WAN IOA), and an 5250 Express PCI card.

Only thing missing in the equation is a 4-port Twinax brick which connects the 2720 and the 5250 Express.

I've noticed that there's not much of them on Ebay (none ATM anyway). Does anyone know if these things are in abundance and I'm just unlucky, or will this mean having to get the only one left on the planet from a broker for something like $1000+?

The 170 is my hobby project, so I'm not planning on spending TOO much money on said brick...

Thanks all!

Rene.
