They allow 465 for sure because that's what we're using from the Windows
server we relay to.

SSL

And the settings are server wide for authentication which won't

you want to use different "from" addresses. Most cloud servers

override the "from" address with the authentication user id and

account data.

Or if you want to use multiple servers, a global server wide

setting

won't

work in that case.

MAILTOOL Plus is fully configurable at the command level for each

the

settings, and uses configuration files that really helps as well.

I quit fighting with the IBM SMTP server things years ago, not only
because of these lack of features, but because it was so

unpredictable

and

hard to debug.
