You can do CPY to an NFS or QTNC (Netbios share) if you have the correct permissions.
We have always found copying to an NFS share to be much more stable.
In regards to the Samba support in V7R2, first you need V7R2 :-)
Then you need someone at IBM to be able to give you instructions on how to use it.
I wasn't able to get good test instructions from the folks at IBM so my testing has been waylaid since I'm not a Unix super-expert :-)
