Vern, I can't know at submission time whether I'll want to cancel a job.

It's like making a reservation, or booking a flight, or ordering a
birthday cake months in advance. At the time that I set it up, I have
no intention of canceling. But it's good to be able to cancel should
conditions warrant it later.
