you are quite right - websockets pushes information to those that are
connected and hasn't chosen to leave the classroom.

No nightmare. Just a different use-case. Say you're a student attending an
on-line course where the teacher is showing her whiteboard to class
members. She writes math equations on the white board and that the content
is broadcast (streamed) to the browsers.
