Honestly, I only run dedicated system saves once a quarter. The newer
versions of IBM i Access for Windows allow you to tell it you're
connecting to an HMC and it fills in a bunch of this for you but the
following is still good info to know

Once I have a 'shared' console session I perform my normal routines for
getting into dedicated state. Once there I simply run
STRBKUBRM CTLGRP(DTFULL) SBMJOB(*NO) OMITS(*IGNORE)
Granted, it may not be the desired method if you want to automate this in
order to run it daily or weekly off hours.
