I see two parts to this:
First, is trapping the changes. To me, journals are the only way to go.
Second, is getting the changes to SQL Server.
IDK if they have a product but I would at least browse the website of
http://visionsolutions.com/ A casual glance noticed a product that does
"cross platform data sharing". Maybe if you're already a Mimix shop (or
one of their other products) they'll cut you a deal.
If you want to roll your own journal analysis and feed, Ardgate or a Scott
Klement solution may have merit. Scott Klement and Deiter Bender politely
compared their alternative solutions and when one might be a better fit.
Nice to see such a comparison. I guess if your pride and ego aren't too
large, and your children's dinner isn't on the line, such discourse can
happen.
