I think you may have something with the job number catch.

I will say that supplemental groups should be used with caution. We went
nuts with them awhile back and our SAVSYS (not save entire system) went
from 4 minutes to 44 minutes. IBM used PRTPRFINT to trace it down to the
use of supplemental groups.
