We are apparently entering the home stretch on using the 520. I received
an email that refers to extending hardware maintenance for 6 momths into
2015. The only gotcha is that the 3590 is not included.
Is there any resource for 3590 maintenance, should it be needed, in what
may be the last six months? Currently, it is used weekly for backup, a tad
over 100G.
I had wondered about the possibility of performing a SAVE 21 to a SAN. I
do not know if our SAN would be acceptable (to our 520 at v5r4), or how (if
needed) an IPL could be performed.
Any thoughts or links?
