I would counter that the beauty of using week for groupings is that weeks
are the only consistent calendar grouping we have. A week is 7 days.
Always. Months vary, quarters vary, and years vary. If one is looking for
trends and comparisons to make business decisions then consistent time
frames are imperative. The idea of having short weeks at the beginning and
ending of a year worries me.
