It was a V7R1 "scratch" install on an 8202 E4A that included
C/A (Client Access) and before the package was installed
the system was functioning perfectly.
RSTAUT was the last step that was run.

Sorry to belabor this. I was just hoping someone had problems
involving TCP where a reinstall of all or part of it was done.

I just did 5770SS1 option 12 delete/add and reapplied PTF's and it still
doesn't work. No hostservers are showing. No communication except
for LAN console. I'm thinking I'll have to rebuild the system from
scratch this weekend...again! (3rd time).

Have you run a RSTAUT since then ? (WAG)

If TCP was working can you detail what you did since then to make it not
work ?

I don't understand your question all that well; I'm not entirely sure
what
you mean by "hostservers don't show up".

What recovery procedure did you run to build the DR system ?
Did your startup program run OK ?
Have you started TCP ?
Have you started Subsystem QSERVER ?
Have you run the STRHOSTSVR command ?

Did you need to remap hardware resources to line description ?

I could ask more questions hoping to ask "the right question" that
will
reveal what is wrong, or you could provide more information about what
you
did and what you are seeing that is not correct.
