I worked a time at one company awhile back where I discovered that command STRDBJOB. The code was a tangle of RPGIII programs and CLP programs and the source that STRDBJOB ran. (I think the source type would be just "CL").
No parameters, no variables, it was just like a scripted CL but it was nearly unworkable.
It was a result of a 20-year "Data Processing Manager" who apparently had stopped learning at RPGIII and apparently never learned CLP properly. The bad part was he did not allow any of his hires or contractors to code stuff he didn't understand. He said some IBM guy had told him once that that was the best way to run CL. He's been retired for awhile now.
