Thanks Rob,
I changed passwords on 1 LPAR yesterday, but not the other.
I didn't realize password had to be in sync for this to work.
Changed password on other LPAR, now in sync, working.
Is there anything else that could fail due to passwords not in sync.
Paul

I was able to do
MKDIR DIR('/QFILESVR.400/gdi') DTAAUT(*RWX) OBJAUT(*ALL) from one lpar to another.
Then I ran
wrklnk '/QFileSvr.400/gdi'
and that worked fine. Then I ran
rd '/qfilesvr.400/gdi'
Then I did a telnet session to that other lpar and ran CHGUSRPRF USRPRF(ROB) PASSWORD(temp) Back on the first lpar I ran MKDIR DIR('/QFILESVR.400/gdi') DTAAUT(*RWX) OBJAUT(*ALL) with no problem. However, when I ran wrklnk '/QFileSvr.400/gdi'
I got:
CPFA09C Not authorized to object. Object is /QFileSvr.400/gdi.
I changed the password back. Got back to the source system and could once again run wrklnk '/QFileSvr.400/gdi'
Are your passwords in sync?
Are you trying this program interactively when it used to be submitted in batch under some user profile who's password never expired?
We use Tivoli Identity Manager to keep our Windows / IBM i / Notes passwords all in sync.

The MKDIR DIR('/QFILESVR.400/PENCOR05') DTAAUT(*RWX) OBJAUT(*ALL) that I
created for IFS CPY is now throwing this message, both LPARs.
What caused this to fail?
How do I fix this?
QSECOFR throws the same error.
Thank You
