I, too, support multiple LPARs and I don't customize my order. I always
order the cume and all groups as one fell swoop. I used to order cume and
groups separately for fear of filling up the link/loader but that hasn't
been an issue in, like, forever. Like Jim says, ordering them all
together also allows me to reduce the space by duplicates. And I'll order
groups which may not currently apply. "Well, I'm not using that version
of WAS right now but if that consultant needs to load it and then wants me
to apply PTF's for it I sure don't want to pay him to download it and
twiddle his thumbs while he waits."
