Cyndi,
We have similar issues with users that have mixed case passwords.
Currently password rules our letters, numbers, and a special character, avoid mixed case.
From what I can remember, (old PMR with IBM) this is a Windows issue.
The other important key here are your AS/400 and Windows account equal.
Ares are not.

Subject: Mapped drive on iSeries
We use a directory on the IFS to write various files to. The folder is in a share on the root. The users who need these files have a mapped drive. We changed our password rules for windows to include mandatory upper/lower case. iSeries does not have this rule (yet, I'm still pushing). Since then, we have had nothing but problems with the users with mapped drives. They can't get to them.
I however, have not changed my password yet and still access my mapped drive. I am also operating under an older version of Client Access. The people who cannot access have the newer 7.1 version.
Is this a Client Access issue ? or the disconnect in the passwords ?
Thanks,
Cyndi B.
