We had similar issues when merging databases. Occasionally we'd get
duplicate item numbers, etc. Our vendor supplied tables have no unique
keys. Granted, it's the programmers responsibility to ensure no
duplicates, and these did happen outside of their interfaces, however some
built in integrity sure would be nice!
