Follow-up to this for the archives:
I ended up running into another SQL error - SQL7008 'File in Library not valid for operation'.
After a little Googling found this link:
https://www-304.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=nas8N1017566
The usual cause of this error is an attempt to update a file that is not journaled. I had to make another change to the ODBC configuration: on the Server tab, click Advanced and then set the commit mode. It was set to *CHG, but since I am not journaling, I changed it to *NONE.

Thanks for those links. The reference to unchecking the 'Enable extended dynamic support' on the Packages tab of the ODBC configuration is what worked - no more SQL errors!
Now if I could just get someone to fix the bug in the Crossware export script that's keeping the tracking numbers from uploading...
Thanks

I'd report this to Worldship. Post back what you hear. Here is some other avenue of interest
https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/community/forums/html/forum?id=11111111-0000-0000-0000-000000000292
IDK if this is related

I wouldn't think so if "the only thing that changed was an upgrade of Worldship".

The 6.1 knowledge center lists 3 new columns added.
7.1 lists one more.
7.2 doesn't list any new ones.
