Thanks for links.
I'm planning on going to 8.8.2.0 SP1.
However, this will need to be a two step.
7.7.7.0 to 7.7.7.9 SP 1
7.7.7.9 SP1 to 8.8.2.0 SP1.

1) Which upgrade option do you use?
Iso images ; Ordering/using DVDs/CD ; Download Direct from IBM to HMC

2) Have you ever used flash drive for code updates?

HMC V8 R8.2.0 supports the following HMC models:
Deskside: C08
Rack Mount: CR5, CR6, CR7, and CR8
HMC V8 R8.2.0 does not support models CR2, CR3, CR4 and C03, C04, C05, C06, C07.
