The "Stated" uncompressed transfer rate went from 80 to 120 (MB/s) with LTO3 to 4 so 50% rather than double. That might explain why you didn't get double. :-)

LTO5 is 140
LTO6 is 160
LTO7 though is stated to be 315. Why not 320? No clue....
