Something I tend to forget is that on fairly recent versions you can put the below in the CLLE source to include the binding directory (among other things) so you can use CRTBNDCL or PDM option 14 directly:

For RPG programs, you can still use the CRTBNDRPG (or PDM #14) option, since it has a BNDDIR() parameter. But, CRTBNDCL doesn't have this, so you have to use the two separate commands to get access to the BNDDIR.
