wow, I thought that the command would have put the output on the hmc but
that actually put it into that file (of course I had to create it first).
I figured it would have died as soon as it found no /qsys.lib directory on
the hmc.
And to think I only tried it just to show you how wrong you were.
Lucky for me I persisted and didn't assume the first error received:
qsh: 001-0055 Error found creating file
/qsys.lib/qgpl.lib/hmc1.file/hmc1.mbr
. No such path or directory.
was due to a lack of /qsys.lib but rather it was a lack of the hmc1 file
that it was trying to use a member of.

My apologies to Marc also. I made the same assumption with him.
