IBM hasn't built an AS/400 this century. What does that tell you about their
integration capabilities? Especially when the base package is written in
COBOL.

As for keeping their web site current, most of the people I worked with are
either retired, have moved on, or dead. The guy who wrote the "success"
story has been in prison for offering bribes to public officials since about
2003.

According to their site, they do intergrate to 'Iseries AS/400'

I had a client (a custom manufacturer) migrate to JobScope after JDE
admitted they couldn't provide actual costs related to customer orders.

This client bids on the work, and does the manufacturing and installation

the components of the order. They need to be able to track the profit/loss
of each job, versus the way a repetitive manufacturer does accounting.

I'd be surprised to hear JobScope still runs on the IBM platform. They
were
moving everyone to a Windows environment the last I heard.

Anyone have experience with JobScope ERP?

I've never heard of them before. I would be interested in knowing:
* How big is their customer base?
* Is their software well-written?
* Is their software code "modern"?

FWIW, this is specific to an automotive manufacturer.
