We just recently went to TL Ashford to handle all our forms. We print
checks, invoices, A/R Statements, packing slips & a few others. The
software is very easy to learn & very powerful. Highly recommend them as
their customer support is top notch.

We are using an application named FormServer to marry a spool file of
checks created by our ERP system to an AFP overlay of the check and

a finished spooled file for MICR printing. It works but the process for
changing the "mapping" of the original spooled file to the overlay and
adding page segments, etc. is cumbersome.

I'm interested in knowing what software others are using and would
recommend for this type of special forms printing.

We use INTERFORM. They are based in Europe, but provide some of the best
tech support over skype and email I've ever had. The last time I was had a
problem, they remoted in to my pc and found the problem pretty quickly.

What is 'cumbersome' for one may be 'flexible' for another. I can
usually get INTERFORM to do what I want, but sometimes it takes some
effort. I'd put them in the middle of the cumbersome spectrum. They do have
a very nice windows based graphical forms designer.
It can do conditional overlays based on spool data, etc. They have
several related products, like email spool as pdf.
