I have not used the operations console on my 520 (v5r4) for some time. I needed it working to change my cache battery, well maybe not.

The console tries to connect.

Monitoring it during the IPL, it does connect briefly whilst the IPL goes through its stages. It disconnects and then goes into a retry state and then never connects.

Has anyone had this problem before?
