I might need to correct the OS version level I gave for TLS1.2 support. I just checked my V7.2 machine and it's there but it's not on my V7.1 box.

I'm using the IBM i FTP client. The people running the FTP server said they're going to cut off anyone not using TLS 1.2 and one of over a dozen different ciphers. I need to find out whether my FTP is still going to work after they make this change.

The server and client app will each have their own list of supported ciphers, listed in order of preference. The cipher used for the session is the best match. Are you trying to find out what ciphers the server offers or the client? Is this the IBM i ftp server?
