Trying to total up "Bytes on tape" in BRMS.

I thought it might be as simple as:
SELECT TMCVSR, TMSYID, TMBYCR, TMCEND FROM qusrbrm.qA1AMM

But I take it I should NOT use "Current Bytes Written" aka TMBYCR?

Volume Creation Expiration Move
Serial Status Date Date Location Date
BR0457 *ACT 07/28/14 07/23/15 IRONMTN 07/29/14
as "13=Display contents" shows a lot of stuff "5=Display" shows:
Total Bytes Read . . . . . . . . : 1214071
Total Bytes Written . . . . . . . : 1049418
Current Bytes Written . . . . . . : 0
Maximum Bytes Written . . . . . . : 1049418

While other volumes look like:
Total Bytes Read . . . . . . . . : 0
Total Bytes Written . . . . . . . : 10159973
Current Bytes Written . . . . . . : 101493
Maximum Bytes Written . . . . . . : 1165967
