What is the earliest version on IBMi that Python can run on?

The one recently made available from IBM seems to require 7.1 or later.

iSeriesPython 2.7 (which I've been using for years) requires V5R3 or
later (I currently use this on 7.1).

iSeriesPython 2.3.3, if you can get it, runs on much earlier operating
systems. I personally used it on V5R2, but I've heard of people
running it on V4R5 or V4R4 or thereabouts. (And they probably still
are running it on those systems!)
