It doesn't matter, could be either. What I'm trying to accomplish is SSO without EIM and Kerberos. I would like to pass back the profile token via a web service to the client and that would allow the client side software to establish a 5250 connection without displaying the sign on screen. I can do this with a virtual terminal and I was thinking there must be a way to do this with a direct connection somehow.
