Charles,
I looked at that function, and it seems to be what I want, but I am not
sure how to use it.
It appears to want a file on the IFS to read from (File Description as parm
for read).
Do you have an example as to how I would use it to read from a DB file?

You'd pass a procedure pointer to your function in the peReadProc param.
