Hi Gerald,

What you've posted looks like the normal/correct behavior (Java does not use EBCDIC, so the class name is in ASCII). What sort of problems are you having?

Please provide the specific error message. (If you just say "it doesn't work" that doesn't give me enough info to help you.)

I changed my classpath away from the "/QIBM/UserData/Java400/ext/' path...

I am working fine with the mySQL driver...

however the MS SQL driver (from sourceforge) is not working, and now the
old one is not working either...

I am having trouble at this point:

in the new_driver procedure:

drv_name = %xlate('.': '/': driver_name);
QDCXLATE(%len(drv_name): drv_fixed: 'QTCPASC');

cls = FindClass(env: drv_name);

drv_name looks ok ( net/sourceforge/jtds/jdbc/Driver) BEFORE the "QDCXLATE"

but after....

it becomes: ÁÈË?ÍÊÄÁÃ?ÊÅÁ¦ÈÀ˦ÀÂÄàÊÑÎÁÊ
